Grand Ambiance Hotel - Istanbul

The bathroom was in need of refurbishment, showing signs of age and neglect. There was no safe in the room, even though it had been advertised, which raises security concerns. The breakfast spread, while extensive, featured food quality that fell below expectations and lacked enough coffee . Rooms could feel cramped, with inadequate storage for luggage, and the shower experience was inconsistent, leading to some minor frustrations.

The hotel was in an absolutely perfect and excellent location near to istanbul like big grand bazaar and the Egyptian bazaar, Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia and Sultanahmet district. It also was close to most popular sightseeing. A rooftop restaurant with great view was an advantage.

The Hotel is in perfect location. Few minutes away to reach Blue mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and tram station. All staff was very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom was clean & comfortable as they change our standard room to suite room with terrace and free wifi. We would like to thanks to Mert and Lebent and we definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The shower was difficult to adjust.

The location of Grand Ambiance stood out, just a short walk from major attractions like the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The spacious balcony was perfect for enjoying the evening air and offered beautiful city views. The breakfast was a highlight, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of Turkish delights every morning. The staff's eagerness to assist was evident, particularly in helping us with tours around Istanbul. The furniture in the room felt outdated, and we had some trouble with the air conditioning, which struggled to keep the room comfortable during a particularly warm night. The noise insulation could also use some improvement. I could hear conversations from the adjacent rooms. Even so, I appreciated the complimentary bottled water daily and found the bed comfortable for restful nights. It was a solid choice for exploring Istanbul, with great service but could benefit from some upgrades.

Great and unbelievable location, within walking distance of Sultanahmet District Square

The staff's attentiveness was amazing, particularly Mehmet's personal assistance in planning our sightseeing.

In the mornings, the noise from the breakfast hall was quite disruptive due to poor sound isolation.

The best thing was the cooperative stuff especially Mr. Badeii (the manager)

The location was perfect for visiting the sites. A wonderful staff who were very helpful during our stay and a great view while eating breakfast. Although our room was very small, it was clean and mostly quiet.

The view from the rooftop terrace during breakfast is just breathtaking! Clean and cozy room with great breakfast options. Only downside was the sound isolation, which could be improved. 😅

Lovely hotel, very convenient for all interesting sightseeing and architecture in Istanbul, near to the tram and other public transport and great for local restaurants too

The rooftop breakfast was very nice and the best part of the hotel. The 2nd best was the free wi-fi available in every room.

The room and beds were small. Would have preferred one double bed.

Unfortunately, the sound insulation is lacking. You can hear chatter from adjacent rooms and the breakfast hall in the morning, which disrupted my peace. The bathroom showed signs of wear, and some amenities were missed on my last two days, leaving me wanting more. While the stay was decent, there's room for improvement in both comfort and upkeep.

The room had a comfy bed, but the bathroom was a bit outdated.

Appetising food, exceptional service and nice view of the Sea of Marmara. Great location, 10 minutes' walk to a functioning mosque. Excellent restaurant, with great view. Really nice overall experience...
